Photo Recovery — Privacy policy
Version 1.0.0 · 10 September 2026
This is the policy shown inside the app under Settings › Privacy policy, word for word. The in-app copy is the source; this page is a copy of it.
The short version
This app has no account, no login and no server of ours. Your photos, videos, audio and files stay on this phone. The app reads Android’s bin and the folders you grant. It never uploads, copies or sends any of them anywhere.
What we collect
Nothing, ourselves. Neonix Apps runs no server and receives no data from this app. There is no analytics SDK of ours and no crash reporting. The advertising partner is a separate thing; the next section says exactly what it receives.
What leaves the phone, and to whom
Two things can, and neither carries a photo.
Buying Premium is handled entirely by Google Play, which is told what you bought. We never see a payment detail.
Ads, and only to people who have not bought Premium. This app shows ads through Appodeal. To choose an ad and to count it, it receives your device's advertising ID and your IP address. It also receives which ads you were shown and tapped, and technical details about the device and this app. It is not given your location. This app asks for no location permission, and it collects location only from apps that have one. It never receives your photos, your videos, your folders, or anything the app read from them. Appodeal’s own policy is at appodeal.com/privacy-policy, and its data requests go to legal@appodeal.com.
What is collected depends on the choice you make in the consent form. You can reopen that form any time from Settings › Privacy choices. You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android's own settings. Buying Premium switches the ad code off completely: it is never started, so nothing is sent at all.
Permissions
Photos, videos and audio: to list what is in Android’s bin and to put it back. Android’s photo picker cannot show deleted items, so a picker cannot replace this.
All files access: only if you turn it on, and the app asks for it on the Files tile alone. Android hides other apps’ deleted files from any app without it. With it, the app can list files other than photos, videos and audio that other apps moved to Android’s bin, and put them back. It reads nothing else with it, and nothing is uploaded.
Folders: only the ones you choose in the system picker, and only to read them.
Internet: for Google Play purchases and, if you have not bought Premium, for ads. The app itself sends nothing.
That is every permission this app asks for. It sends no notifications.
Storage and deletion
Everything the app stores is on this device: your settings, the list of what you restored, which folders you granted, and whether you have Premium. Your consent choice is kept there too. Settings › Delete all app data removes all of it at once and closes the app. Uninstalling has the same effect. Your photos, videos and files live in your own folders and in Android’s bin. Neither action touches them.
Backup
Android's automatic backup and device-to-device transfer are off for this app. Folder grants are tied to this phone, and Premium is re-checked with Google Play.
Children
The app is not directed at children.
Changes and contact
If this changes, the new version ships with the app and is dated. Questions and data requests go to jaydholariya.app@gmail.com.
