Arrow Puzzle: Snake Arrows Game Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy for Arrow Puzzle

Effective date: 15 August 2026 Last updated: 15 August 2026

This policy explains what Arrow Puzzle ("the game", "the app") collects, who receives it, and what you can do about it.

  • App name: Arrow Puzzle
  • Package name: com.northstar.arrowgo
  • Developer: Neonix Apps ("we", "us", "our")
  • Contact: jaydholariya.app@gmail.com

By installing or using Arrow Puzzle you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The short version

  • We do not run a server and we have no account system. There is nothing to sign up to, and we never receive your progress, your settings or anything you do in the game.
  • Everything the game saves — progress, settings, statistics and your hint wallet — is stored on your own device, and is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
  • We never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise location or any other personal detail. The game has no text input to type them into.
  • Third-party services inside the app do collect data, in order to show adverts and to measure how the game is played. That data goes to those companies, not to us.
  • If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland you are asked first, before any advert is requested and before any measurement begins, and you can change your answer at any time.

2. Information the app stores on your device

The game saves the following locally, using Android's own app storage (Jetpack DataStore):

StoredExamples
Game progressLevels unlocked and completed, stars earned, current Journey position
StatisticsLevels played, moves made, hints used, best runs, play streaks
WalletHints you hold, milestone rewards claimed, purchase entitlements
SettingsTheme, arrow style, sound and vibration switches, reminder preference
Tutorial stateWhether onboarding has been completed

This data stays on your device. It is not transmitted to us, it is not backed up to any server of ours, and there is no copy of it anywhere except your phone.

Android's own system backup may include this data if you have Android Backup or Google One device backup switched on in your device settings. That is a service provided by Google under Google's privacy policy, controlled entirely by you in your Android settings, not by us.

To delete it: use Settings → Reset progress inside the game, or clear the app's storage from Android Settings → Apps → Arrow Puzzle → Storage, or uninstall the app. Any of these permanently erases everything above. There is no backup on our side to restore from.

3. Information collected by third-party services

The game is free, and is paid for by advertising. To make that work — and to find the levels where players get stuck — the app includes software supplied by other companies. These companies act as independent controllers of the data they collect and process it under their own privacy policies.

3.1 Advertising

Adverts are served through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) and, where enabled, the AppLovin MAX mediation platform and its participating ad networks.

The game shows:

  • one banner at the bottom of the game screen while you play, and
  • optional rewarded videos that you can choose to watch in exchange for a hint or an extra life.

There are no interstitials, no app-open adverts, and nothing that interrupts a level. Nothing plays unless you ask for it, apart from that banner.

To serve and measure adverts, these SDKs may collect:

  • your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID / App Set ID),
  • device and technical information — device model, manufacturer, operating system version, language, screen size, network type, app version,
  • coarse, approximate location derived from your IP address (for example, country or region — the app never requests GPS or precise location permission),
  • ad interaction data — which adverts were shown, viewed, clicked, or watched to completion.

Advertising partners that may receive this data:

3.2 Analytics

Google Analytics for Firebase counts how the game is played, so that levels people abandon can be found and fixed. It records events such as: a level opened, a level cleared or failed, a hint spent, a rewarded video offered or watched, a store purchase attempted, a theme chosen, a screen viewed, and progress reset. Alongside these it collects a randomly generated Firebase installation identifier and standard device information.

3.3 Session recording

Microsoft Clarity records how the app was used, so that a session can be replayed as a walkthrough of taps and screens — for example, to see that players are repeatedly tapping a blocked arrow on a particular level. It collects interaction and screen data along with a session identifier and device information.

Clarity cannot record on Android 9 or older; on those devices no session recording takes place.

3.4 What is never sent

  • Your name, email address, phone number or any account identifier — the game never asks for one.
  • Anything you have typed. The game has no text entry.
  • Your contacts, photos, files, calendar, microphone, camera or precise location.
  • Your saved game data. Progress, statistics and the wallet never leave your device.

No crash reporting or diagnostics SDK is included in this build.

4. Consent, and how to change your mind

Nothing is collected until you have been asked. In builds distributed to the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform appears before any advert is requested. Analytics collection and session recording are switched off before any of the app's own code runs, and are enabled only if your answer to that form permits it.

  • If you decline, you will still see adverts, but they will not be personalised, and no analytics or session recording takes place.
  • If you accept, you can withdraw or change that consent at any time from Settings → Ad privacy settings inside the game. Withdrawing switches off personalised advertising, analytics and session recording from that point on.

You can also reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads, which prevents it being used to build an advertising profile.

5. Legal basis for processing (EEA, UK and Switzerland)

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) — for personalised advertising, analytics and session recording. This is collected through the consent form described in section 4, and can be withdrawn at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) — for non-personalised advertising, fraud and invalid traffic prevention, and keeping the app secure and working correctly.
  • Performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) — for processing in-app purchases you choose to make.

6. Purchases

Arrow Puzzle offers optional in-app purchases: removing the banner advert, a pack of hints, and unlocking all levels.

All purchases are handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see, receive or store your payment card, bank details or billing address — Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether an entitlement is active. Your purchase history for the app is available in your Google Play account.

Google Play's terms and privacy policy govern the transaction: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Prices are set and displayed by Google Play in your own currency, including any local tax.

7. Notifications

The game can send you up to two reminders a day about where your Journey left off.

These are entirely local. The wording is written on your device from your own saved progress and posted by your device. There is no push service, no server, no device token, and nothing is sent or received over the network to deliver them.

Android asks your permission once (on Android 13 and newer). Declining leaves the game fully playable and simply switches reminders off. You can turn them off at any time, either in the game's Settings or in your phone's notification settings.

8. Permissions the app requests

PermissionWhy
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATERequired to load adverts, the consent form, and analytics. The game itself contacts nothing.
VIBRATEHaptic feedback on taps, when enabled in Settings. Respects your device-wide haptic setting.
POST_NOTIFICATIONSTo show the local reminders described above. Optional; asked once, and declining changes nothing else.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETEDAndroid discards scheduled alarms on restart. This lets the reminders be re-scheduled after your phone reboots.

The app requests no other runtime permissions — no location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage or phone permissions of any kind.

9. Data retention

  • On your device: kept until you reset progress, clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
  • By third parties: retained according to each company's own retention schedule. Google Analytics for Firebase and Google AdMob retain data under Google's published policies; Microsoft Clarity retains session recordings under Microsoft's. See the links in section 3.

We ourselves hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing on our side to retain or delete.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent.

Because we operate no server and hold no personal data, the most direct routes are:

  1. Withdraw consent — Settings → Ad privacy settings inside the game.
  2. Delete everything stored locally — Settings → Reset progress, or clear the app's data, or uninstall the app.
  3. Reset or delete your advertising ID — your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads.
  4. Exercise rights against a specific partner — contact the company directly using the links in section 3, as they are the controllers of the data they collect.

You may also contact us at jaydholariya.app@gmail.com and we will help where we can, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the sharing of advertising identifiers with advertising partners for personalised advertising may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" under California law. You can opt out by declining personalised advertising in the consent form, by using Settings → Ad privacy settings, or by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your device settings. We do not knowingly collect personal information from consumers we know to be under 16.

11. Children

Arrow Puzzle is a general-audience puzzle game. It is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us at jaydholariya.app@gmail.com and we will act to remove it. Note that the app has no way to submit personal information — it has no account, no text entry and no upload.

12. International transfers

The third-party services described in section 3 are operated by companies based in the United States and elsewhere, and the data they collect may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries whose data protection laws differ from those of your country. Those companies are responsible for using appropriate safeguards for such transfers — for example the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses — as described in their own privacy policies.

13. Security

Data collected by the third-party SDKs is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Data stored on your device is held in the app's private storage area, which Android isolates from other apps.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy — for example if an advertising partner is added or removed. The "Last updated" date at the top will change, and the current version will always be available at this address. Material changes will be reflected in the app's Privacy screen as well. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
